Hello everyone! I used to be an active member on this forum, but it's been about 5 years since my last check in.

I just bought my first custom shop Warwick, so I thought I better check back in!

I see some familiar faces... hope you're all doing well.

    Thanks, Hardy!

She is in the custom shop gallery (#19-4073), but I took a couple quick shots when I got her... 20200129_135602.jpg 20200129_135631.jpg

Hi! My name is Justin and I've been in love with everything Warwick since I started playing at age 12 about 8 years ago. I finally just got my Corvette $$ NT last week as some of you may have seen! Since I got it and played a few gigs with it, I can safely say I will never get another brand of bass, except a Fender P. Warwick just kicks so much ass.

    Hey folks,

My name is Sietze, from the Netherlands. Playing bass for nearly 40 years... I'm getting old :)

I have been away from this forum for a few years.

Last week I bought a Streamer LX5, an oldie from 1998.
Wenge neck and fretboard, high gloss transparent finish, kind of teal green or sea-blue... Hard to say...:)

So, time to check in again!

Still playing my Thumb BO 5 from 1994, with walnut body, pictured in my avatar.

Hope to be around a bit more!

    Hi evryone,
I'm Luc from France, I started playing bass when I was 17, I played a few years, just for fun and I stop for (too) many years.
I start the bass again 2 years ago now, at 50 yo. I still have my first p.bass, I quickly bougth a new one, witch is a Chapmann guitar, the MLB1 is a good bass but since I was a teenager I dream of Warwick bass and when I saw this
classified ad for a Thumb bass 4 BO from 1993 at not too expensive and not far from home I fell in love !
I hope to continue playing on it for many more years !

    Welcome home.

Guess vintage Thumb BO basses are making their owners come to the forum. I like that. :)

Hey, Brian here. Had to sell my Fortress One a few years back and it broke my heart. So...I replaced it with something even better. Cant believe the condition the previous owner kept it in.

Yes, indeed it does. It should be arriving at my home hopefully tomorrow, Tues at the latest. Cant wait. And ty for the "official" welcome, think we spoke in the past about effects loops and such. All the members ive encountered here, like urself, have been among the most friendly and helpful folks Ive known. It stands to reason...the coolest guys play Wicks

Ive been looking for a Fortress MM for quite some time. Either the deals fell thru or the condition was less than desired, taking in to consideration most are pushing nearly 30yrs old. I found this one in exceptional condition. No pitting or rust in the screw heads anywhere that I was able to see...lets hope the pics dont do the real thing justice. I will post more details when its in my hands....

    Hi all,
New to this forum. Don’t have me a Warwick yet but I’m in the market. I’m thinking a Corvette Standard. Been doing lots of research, (reviews, YouTube interviews etc) and the Corvette just seems to appeal to me.
I currently play an Ibanez BTB740 which is on eBay as my short fingers really have to reach on that long scale. I also have an Ibanez AFR4 which I love. Haven’t been playing long, about a year, but having fun.
