There you go, a picture of my rigs :) The Cutom is an 05/06 if remember, the bass is an 08/09

Oooh Engl & Eden amps. We're dealing with a man of great taste here!
I sold my Powerball + 1960/greenback cab to be able to buy the Fender bass amp. I'm not a guitar kinda person although I do have a vintage Gibson Firebird (non-reversed) and a special edition Fender Telecaster... I also had an Ibanez 7 string guitar and a Gibson SG but sold both of those too.

Now I just collect basses. Preferably in the shape of Dolphin Pro 1's.

Thanks for the compliment :) Try the Blackmore, its got nice low mids, details and is costing around 2/3 of a Powerball. Its basically the trimmed down version of the Savage 120, which is used by the folks of Exodus as well for example :)

The plan is to add another 212 or a 115 to the guitar rig, some form of delay/reverb if I fancy - and 2 instruments more, 1 guitar one bass. They will be slightly more metal, guitar will live around B or C tuning and the bass will probaly be a thumb for that crunchy growl. And that will be me with purchasing gear unless I have to replace/repair kit or fancy the odd pedal. I just find it a shame that I can't order the Renegade with Custom Shop Options anymore, I guess I have to settle for a Pantera. Bass wise, its looking like a 2011 thumb if I can playtest it and it turn out to be better at crunching then my $$ :) Or maybe an NT4 if I can get one in good condition for a decent price that I can test and collect.
That said, I will order a case for the thumb anyway and I may add a custom shop detail only to get a case with it right away, saves me having another gigbag standing around :)

Hello Guys,
New here and new to Framus. Born in US but went to Germany in 69' @ 6mths old. Came back to the states in late 73' with a 71' Acoustic Western 5/195 (sorry mine doesn't plug in). It stayed in its original maroon slip on case in the garage until last year. I have it now in near perfect condition, all original except for new strings. cannot find out a thing about it. on the "vintage" site its listed but thats it and at the top it mentions 72' in a column only. Any info on this classic would be great... not getting rid of it just want to know rarity and possible value. Thanks. I actually love going acoustic, I think my neighbors do to!

I want to say hello too.
If its important, I'm playing a Renegade Pro, a Panthera Pro SE08 and a Dragon Top with a Framus 2x12.
I'm living in Potsdam and I'm mainly playing metal and classic rock stuff.

I tried one at the Framus museum and it sounds great.
It's even possible to play metal without feedback problems.

Welcome to the forum! :)
Dr Strange, would you open a new topic with your guitar, and show us pics, and everything? There are not enough Fraus Pictures on this forum, I tell you!
Mr Andreas Egelkraut our FRamus Vintage Specialist will answer to you soon.

Hey

I'm a new member--been keen on a Framus for a bit, and found one on sale by the distributor (was a demo model)--Hollywood Custom in a vintage type sunburst.

I'll make a post and ask a few questions soon (thought I made a post earlier but can't find it!)

HiLo
