This is a monumental opportunity that just fell into my lap. I was having lunch with the Artist Rep in March and we were talking, which led to me sending out a resume and portfolio, leading to an interview, which led to a job offer. I'll be handling social media duties, web management, content creation, and many other things. I figure it's more fun to show you what I get to look at every morning as I walk into work, which should be self-explanatory.

Best part? They're the US distributor of all Warwick Rockcase accessories, and I "think" are still the makers of the WW strings. So, it's kind of in the "family," in a manner of speaking.

Either way, I can't tell you all how unbelievably excited I am about this tremendous opportunity, working for this tremendous company.

Congrats, you seem to be batting 1000 these days! Glad someone is able to have good fortune in these economic times.

Congratulations! So we can ask you for free strings now?

I think it's a bit of a secret, but I always thought Cleartone made the WW-strings. WW sells Cleartone in Europe and they use the same EMP-logo/concept.

I was told that is an unspoken perk of working there.

I'd be curious to find out. Truthfully, there are a very small number of string winding companies in comparison to the amount of strings out there, so I wouldn't be surprised at all of Cleartone doesn't make their own strings either.

Thanks again, folks. I can't tell you how uber-excited I am.

A perk I found out as well. Because of GHS and Warwick's relations, I was told that HPW will be in the office in late July, so I will get the chance to meet him. THAT is exciting!

So today is the day I get to meet HPW, as he'll be in the office. Looking forward to it.

And the job itself is great; very different from my past endeavors but it's a logical step in the right direction. I just got my laptop set up with everything I need, so next week (when the Artist Rep is back in the office) is when I'll get the full rundown of some of the programs. As it sits now, I'm doing a lot of the social media, making graphics for whatever we need, and recording demos for when people ask about things. Also got to record some audio clips of a as-yet-unreleased distortion pedal yesterday, and that was pretty cool.
