Use the little picture icon (looks like sunset over the mountains) and add the link or you can upload from your computer. I tried to link it and it wouldn't work for me but this website has issues with that from IPads for some reason

Well, sadly, my new bass is in the shop. Its making a hissing/ocean sound through the amp. The place I brought it adjusted and cleaned all the pots, and then found a loose wire so he resoldered. Of course the minute I plugged it in to test it....it started making the noise again. He said he fiddled with it for a half hour and it didnt make noise. So, hes calling Warwick tmrw for more info. Im expecting to have to buy a new pre-amp at this point.....we'll see tmrw hopfully!

Sorry to hear that. On the positive side, electronics are cleanly replaceable and you will have a perfect working bass afterwards, provided the bass is without other problems. On the negative side, if you choose the stock preamp it is quite pricey. You may be able to save a significant amount by replacing the eq module only, and keeping the pots. That's what I would try to do. Good luck.

EDIT: I checked at the webshop and you wouldn't save much by getting just the eq module, the price is almost the same. Plus there's also the risk that something may be wrong with your pots. You can always check though.

Can't tell for sure as you will be getting it locally from your distributor. Also it depends on the kind of beans black eyed (e) or not ($). :)

So I got my bass back. Seems like the preamp circuit board was pressing against the back of the pots when the cavity cover was in place, allowing some wires to touch things they weren’t supposed to touch. So the tech wrapped the circuit board in a small baggy (I think one for picks actually, lol) and it worked like a charm. No noise, no hissing.......just the SWEET a$$ growl of a SSII!!!! Thanks all!
