Watching a Celtic Frost song from Wacken 2006, I found out from the comments that he passed away last week, from a heart attack, at age 50. "He played a left-handed Warwick bass" states the Wikipedia page. I feel sad. I like Celtic Frost, and he was a part of that.

It's Tom, an exceptional personality. Everything he writes is no bullshit and honest, cause he knows everything else is shit. You 'll notice the "bad" things about Martin are almost more than the "good" things, no one sided idealizing sugar coating. I checked out a few recent posts of his concerning his struggle against BMG which will be reissuing his life's work. Same old bullshit with music companies, back in the 80s it was damned Noise Records the killer of bands, now it's theze bozos. They want to fuckin' censor the liner notes of his life's work! Why? You should see his correspondence with them. His English is exemplary and he says what has to be said, not even one superfluous or missing word.
