I purchased a brand new Rockbass Fortress 4 String recently and have had a lot of problems out of it. I can go into detail if I need to, but the reason I am here is to ask what I should do, or who I should contact. I paid almost $900.00 for this bass and the fact that I am having so many problems and have had to stop playing it is disheartening, to say the least..

Contact the dealer you bought it from. They will contact the distributor for your country who if needed will contact Warwick directly. Oh and please be more specific if you really want info or advice. Cheers, Marco.

^ What he said. I'm sorry you're having problems with it, but your dealer should make it right.

    Where are you located?

I bought Warwick fortress too. Now, it has major problem with fretboard unfixable with anchor. Is it possible to fix it some how or should I burn this bass down, and no-more-warwick?

Burn it man, burn it.

You are obviously unable to return it to the shop because once there the sales people might eat you.

If you purchase a faulty product, turn around and walk back into the store.

...and if they refuse any help, take the bass by it's head and hurl it across the service table! Don't forget to scream "WAAAAAAR-WICK!!!"

    This should help.

The store wouldn't do anything about it.
I took it to a guitar tech and he told me the neck was faulty and not repairable, along with some issues with the nut. He couldn't believe the amount of issues it was having.

However, Warwick is going to send me a replacement. I'm just hoping this one doesn't have any problems.

The difference between a good and bad company is RESPONSIBILITY to your products, dealers and paymasters.

Good to hear this neck issues is attended by the manufacturer.Thumbs Warwick.

I agree with this, however the client also has a responsibility to be willing to have the problem resolved. Screaming about burning the instrument and abandoning the Warwick brand isn't really helping.

evrywhere where humans are involved there can be made mistakes....
you can buy an 5 K Warwick and it can happen that something is wrong, or a 5 K Fender, Sandberg etc. etc.
even if you buy an Mercedes, Audi BMW etc. you can catch a so called "Monday"-Car with negative issues ;)

the most important thing is, that there exists good custumer support

But the store???? why wont they help you?? u brough the product from them. I dont know about your country but here we are covered under consumer fair trading laws. Its up to the store to give you a replacement and for them to chase warwick themselves.

That is seriously some dumb behaviour on the part of the store. Music stores live and die by their customer service. Particularly as being a warranty issue it cost the shop nothing but time to sort it out. By not taking the time to fill out an RA form and send the bass back they have hopefully lost a customer plus the bad word of mouth it creates!

Sorry.....I used to work in an instrument shop with a crew that really prided ourselves in good service and this kind of crap pisses me off.

he don't tell us, where he has buyed the brand new Rockbass.
I can't believe that that was an real store. Normally a store must change it or repair in it's name..

perhaps he has buyed the Bass via ebay new...so this behaviour is more common at ebay stores, that you manage your warranty issues with the maufacturer themselves
