Good evening community ladies and gentlemen.

I recently purchased a 2000 LX5 antique tobacco satin in overall very good condition.

However, it has 4 or 5 not-too-deep body dings resulting in millimetric white spots in the finish.

I wanted to ask if anyone has experience in fixing these small blemishes in satin finishes without having to strip and reapply laquer (in other words, if light sanding + polishing will do the trick).

The body had some polished spots from normal use, which I returned to all of its matte gloriousness with some careful good old scotchbrite pad magic.

I have just repaired a couple small wood dings in my oil Thumb with very light work and it looks completely new, but I'm thinking that any lacquer finish will present a bigger challenge.

    Hoping you can help.

    Thanks everyone. Be safe.

Hi Buddy. It is a very thin and delicate finish, the only solution is to refinish completely, or embrace the mojo :)

When I emailed Warwick about this, they told me to find a matching magic marker lol.

Can I use a matching marker for this one?
