Shame, would have liked to see some more Warwick beyond the odd used ones I tend to see every now and again.

An interesting point was made on another forum Re: "Use it or lose it" - if manufacturers and players fail to support events like this then organisers are going to be less inclined to arrange them in the future. This will eventually lead to fewer opportunities to try equipment which will lead to fewer sales, lower profits and eventually some manufacturers going out of business. I, personally have spent thousands of pounds on equipment that I wouldn't have otherwise considered following events like this - I'm sure that I'm not alone in this.

Anybody else think that there's a lack of commitment to the Bass playing community by not supporting these events?

Not really, since Warwick has a huge presence at the both US NAMM shows each year along with Musikmesse, both of which are orders of magnitude larger than the London bass show.

Haha. I never visit any of these shows. They are a total waste of money and time.

Actually It was a great deal of fun! Some of the best money ever spent :) I am sorry Warwick is not coming @Frankfurt anymore, or London bass show, but I already booked for bass camp 2015 :)

I planned to go at LBGS this year (I mean 2019) but they have moved from March to September, they go in a bigger building and add the Guitar Show as the same time… They're going into a "NAMM-like" organisation...
