Indeed, amigos. It is that time of the year, again. Seems like yesterday when we were talking about the 2008 LTD Ed Warwick bass, and here we are again.

So, you know how this works. Let the madness begin!

I have the feeling it will be a Thumb BO this time. 8:

True....though I can't believe Warwick has not done a Thumb NT, in the history of the LTD's? Plenty of BO LTD's.... But come on....gotta have at least one Thumb NT LTD.....then....you guys can have your Dolphin and we'll all be happy. Everybody wins ;) :p

There is....but it will take him another year to swim to Germany ;)

    Come on January!

A Thumb with a highgloss finish on top (with matching headstock) and a natural finish on the back would be very cool.
Something cool with the electronics like a jazzman config would be cool too.

    So I compiled some datas.
Year, Model, Main body wood, neck wood, active, passive or Passive with active elec.
    2015 streamer LX ash/maple passive
    2014 Fortress Ash/Wenge pass/active elec
    2013 Thumb BO Ash/Wenge Active
2012 : Streamer NT LTD 30th anniversary, cherry wenge active
2011 Streamer LX Maple Blackwood passive/active elec
2010 Corvette NT Ash Maple Active
    2009 Corvette $$ mahogany maple Passive/Active elec
2008 Streamer LX Swamp As/ maple active
2007 Thumb BO Flamin Blonde lacewood wenge passive/active elec
2006 Thumb BO dirty Blonde Swamp Ash Maple Active
2005 Corvette HotRod Swamp Ash Maple Active
2004 Corvette FNA JazzMan Swamp Ash Ovangkol Active
2003 Thumb BO Bleached Blonde Swamp Ash Maple active
2002 Corvette FNA Jazman Walnut Ovangkol passive active elec
2001 Thumb BO Ovangkol Ovangkol active
1991 Streamer Corvette Etimoe Maple passive/active elec
1989 Streamer Stage 1 ltd Maple Wenge single barto MM passive active elec

So yes, few NT models, no SN models, generally I see that the LTD editions are often made out of "standard" woods, with fancy tops or thingies.

Let's look back at the history of Warwick, isn't the buzzard born in 1986 ? Or was it 1987 ? A 30th anniversary LTD buzzard ?
1987, it's the 5th anniversary bass, so maybe the LTD 2017 would be a 30th anniversary of the 5th anniversary. that would be cool, but for next year.
20years ago, 1996, the novelty was the Corvette Bubinga. So a reissue with that Boob-Inbga feel ?

As much as I would love a Dolphin, my guess would be a Thumb BO, jazzman configuration, maybe with a cherry body and Wengé neck. Thumb Stage 1. :)
