Hello. I found a local store has a good offer on a starter std4 rockbass. The strange thing is that from the image I see that the jack input is on the front and not the side like most. After googling the model i've seen only very few of this design and I wonder if this is not an actual warwick bass or if it's an older version or something. Can anyone point out the truth? (Link below)

    Thanks a bunch

    Aris.

P.S. unfortunately i think there is no english version of the website but you can make out some of the specs.
This website/store is otherwise trustworthy allthough musical instruments are not the primary product

Not sure if my phone has a virus now :rolleyes: but yeah, that looks like a tiny pic of a Rockbass Streamer.

No need to worry I assure you the website is very legitimate. So there is a version with the jack on the front. I wonder why I can't find that version anywhere..

Seems like a nice offer though...

Hi @Mosquito and welcome to the forum.
It is an old rockbass streamer std, and yes, the price is decent. If you are into Warwick and want an entry level stuff, I would skip that bass. It has a really low output, and a very mellow sound. Look for a Corvette or Fortress instead. Click on the left banner on top of the page, @Doctorbass.net are known to have very good deals.
    Just my 2 cents.

Thank you very much for clearing this up. I'm a drummer and am looking for a bass to mess around with so i was going to find some really low price (possibly less than 200) . I'd be between this and something like those crude harley benton stuff or maybe a squire (if there was one that cheap). Considering this range would you still recommend it even if it's an old version?

Yes, if you want it just to mess with it home, it might be a pretty good deal. Also the mellow sound will probably make you feel better than a top bass that can be a bit harsh. It has a pretty good construction.
