Nice bass, but don't use lemon oil on wenge fretboards.
Doesn't do a good job at all, try Boiled Linseed Oil instead.
Haha... I thought about doing something similar.
Lemon oil is a mineral oil with lemon scent (one can probably also use the IKEA mineral oil) and it remains wet and slowly evaporates, but boiled linseed oil polymerises. I use Dunlop lemon oil mainly for cleaning once per year. You can also use teak oil, which stays 'wet', but it tints dark woods like ebony, wenge...Nice bass, but don't use lemon oil on wenge fretboards.

So guys, if I want to clear up the smudge around the playing position and volume knob am I looking at sanding or will cleaning and waxing do?
And if sanding is the thing to do, what grain?
I dialed back the contrast on this pic because I think the seller has been hyping up his photos a bit. Seems about natural like this at -20% contrast...
