I need YOUR amp help...please

    Buying a Corvette $$ shortly, I hope. Previously, on my crappy bass, I'd been playing through an old Peavey P.A. head and cabinet. Naturally I want something truly bass-worthy...but after coming up with the $1400 or so for the $$, I'm going to be limited to probably $600-700 on some bass amp configuration.

    Can anyone point me in the direction of something to start me out on here that will do the wonderful tones and attack of my $$ some kind of justice?
