No, get your minds out of the gutter, I'm talking about the beeswax that is nicely packaged in with a new Warwick for natural finishes.

Damn, i wanted to write the same as I saw the title :D

I actually prefer lacquered bodies. For those basses i have (2) I would recommend every 10 years depending on the use.

On a more serious note: if the bass was neglected (happens with used basses) and the wood is dry and it would need a few sessions of waxing & polishing. When the wood is saturated and the babe shines, then once per year should be fine.
