I was killing some time at work surfing Youtube and happened across some Warwick clips featuring Hellmut Hattler. I have been a Hattler fan for some time, but did not know he had any association with Warwick. I just thought I would share a few...........

Reverse P - perfect for pick! D and G sound so sweet. I found the second vid amazingly interesting.

Kind of off topic but I think it's weird they use a Stu Hamm song from 25 years ago recorded on his Kubicki as the intro music now lol

I used to own HH's 8 string Streamer (x2 P pups and a crazy splatter paint job). Nice bass but limited use in mainstream so I sold it.

@warwickhunt what was it that made it limited in mainstream? Did the paint job involve blood and gore?

More a case of 8 strings have a distinct tone which doesn't suit all musics. ;)

This guy can groove like a motherhattler! Can't help but think of Bobby Vega and Cody Wright. His improvised fills with variation were awesome too.
