The Thomann blowout finally enabled me to get the pre/poweramp and cabs I have been wanting to get my hands on for so long at a price I am willing to pay for a bass amp. I took delivery of the preamp and stereo poweramp yesterday and have a Club and Lo Cab on the way :) First impressions are nothing short of awesome - the preamp is worth its weight in gold, and looking forward to putting the poweramp through its paces during rehearsal and upcoming gigs.

In the meantime I am using the poweramp with my 4 Ohm Vanderkley 2x12 cab: selected bridge mode and 4 Ohm (as you would when using the two 8 Ohm Club and Lo Cabs in bridge mode). But since we are talking about a stereo amp here: what stereo impedance setting should be used when hooking up both the Club and Lo cabs in stereo (as shown in the manual)? The total impedance of the two cabs (4 Ohms) or the impedance per channel (8 Ohms)? Since there is also a 2 Ohm stereo setting (=4 Ohm/cab on both channels?) the most obvious would be the total impedance but better safe than sorry.

Cannot find it anywhere in the manual. Since there is also a 2 Ohm stereo setting (=4 Ohm cab on either channel?) the most obvious would be the total impedance but better safe than sorry. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Thanks schlobodan :) Just to be absolutely sure: so when hooking up *two* 8 Ohm cabs (Club and Lo, 8 Ohm per channel) in stereo mode you need to select 8 Ohm?
