Headstock darkening

    Anyway to make the headstock dark again? I've thought about a light sanding, what do you think? Maybe some lemon oil or wax?

    I tried waxing the headstock of my '98 Thumb NT because it was faded and I was also curious to see what it would do. The result . . . it only made the headstock face shinier, not darker. Oh well. :lol:

    I used 'Back to Black' on mine. Same as what you use on your car bumpers & trim.

    Yeah it worked great, you can use it on all surfaces to restore them back to as new.
    It's called 'ArmorAll' low gloss protectant' ,the one in the pump-spray bottle. I hope this is of some use to you all.

    Yeah, I've used this on my truck bumper before. It works magic for restoring the black to plastic... I'll have to keep this in mind when my headstock starts to fade. Thanks Burnham!
