i'm thinking about (for canadians:aboot) getting an eq pedal. preferably under 100 bucks. right now, my amp and bass only have treble and bass (oh the joys of vintage ampeg), and i need something to better enhance the growl. any ideas?

Well, the best IMO is the EBS mirco bass II... but thats alittle out of your price range. I've also heard good things come out of a sansamp box too and I think they are less expensive.

Boss pedals = good stuff for the price, I've never had any problems with them.

im using an MXR KFK 10 abnd EQ ... its a lot better than Boss or Boston (its a boss clone thats made in china) ...

i recommend MXR's 10 band EQ if you are not that big on aesthetics...

the boss one's are OK too... but id rather have the 10 abnd one :)

just got a boss geb-7. 7-band eq. works like a champ. it gives me some more flexibility over what is offered with the 5-band eq on the pro fet 5.1.
