I'm going to Johannesburg, South Africa, with my band the day after tomorrow. Does anyone have any tips about things to do (or not do!), places to go (or not go), nice bass-related stuff, etc?

Anyway, we survived, without getting shot, stabbed or mugged! The gig was a lot of fun, too, even if I could not bring my Warwick due to airline restrictions:

Oh, it didn't fit in the overhead compartment, so I had to chop the headstock off. Attached the strings with gaffer tape, so no worries.
