Gnome iPro

My Gnome iPro is excellent but it has cut out on some times. I use an Alembic Orion 4 and for this purpose a Barefaced One 10. Why?

Thank you - I use it and sometimes after a while (maybe an hour or so) it will shut down and then re-start. I wonder if the heat protection is kicking in? - it is well ventilated. No problems with my other amps. which are high-end Genz-Benz and Genzler £900 amps. I like the sound of the Gnome as a back-up amp and appreciate it is good for less than a £200 amp but maybe I am expecting too much? I understand that the Trace Elliot Elf gets heating issues. Happy to put up with it if it is doing what it should and clicking off if getting too hot. Glynn

Might be the heat protection, yes. Try adding a fan and see if that helps, or change out the internal fan.
