Hi guys, I'm just a bit over enthusiastic, so I'll share this.

Since the end of April this year I have my CS Buzzard (maple/mahogany, passive, classic HB's) but I don't gigged it thát often. The flightcase didn't fit in my small car, ha ha. Since a couple of months I have a gigbag, but it is still very big, so a lot of times I have to take another bass. And the times I took it I didn't have my own amp with me. But yesterday I had room for my Hiwatt DR201 + 4x10 and the little birdie....
A nice thing was that we could play quite loud in this venue and I love to move the speakers. It improves the sound.

So: Buzzard + 200W tube power = tone heaven! What a sound! A good tube amp brings a bass to life and I just had a monster tone. I'm never that happy with my own sound, always trying to improve, but yesterday I was smiling every time I stood right in front of my amp:D
Very tight, thundering and agressive. Love it.

I have some eardrum problems now;) WHAT? [beeeeeeeeeep]

I hope to have some pics soon.

Good pics! I'm glad to heat the gig was a success. There's nothing like enjoying your own tone while you're on stage, huh?
