Thinking of selling my custom one off Warwick Ganja Bass. Made in c. 1999, it's a stage 1 4 string with ebony board. Real ganja leaf in lacquer, ganja leaf inlays, green LEDs. Back high polish, gold hardware. What do you people think someone might pay for this UK £? More pics... Ganja bass

I guess between 1500 and 2000 EUR is a fair price to ask

I am a little confused... According to Warwick's website a new Streamer Stage 1 solid HP is RRP €6,079 yet a custom one off piece with ebony finger board custom inlays and LEDs made in the late 90s is worth half the price of a new standard bolt on neck. Forgive me but something is not adding up. It's not a problem as I don't need to sell and not convinced I want to sell it but I thought this would be worth a whole lotta $$$€€€£££.

This is because Warwick raised the prices somewhere between 300% and 500% in the last decade, while making roughly the same products as before.
For example; my 2005 LTD five string was 14-1500 euro new in 2005. the 2021 basses start at 3000. And I believe the most expensive 2020 Thumb Limited was somewhere around 7000 or 8000.

Why did they do this? I'm not sure, but I believe they really want people to buy an Asian Warwick first to start out with. (And those have a HUGE markup)
And if those people are satisifed with those basses, they might buy a German one.

Maybe a teambuilt. Which are the same guitars as Warwick used to make, but now twice the price.
Or maybe a masterbuilt, which are starting at the prices you mentioned. And the custom shop is only for silly people.

The value of Warwicks is always a thing of mystery. I was able to pickup a 5 string 1990 Streamer Stage 1, Broadneck, with Bartolini pickups and alu flightcase for 750GPB - a mere 10% of the current list price for such a beast. The fact that your bass is customised limits the potential buyers from a few to even fewer. Nothing wrong with your bass, just the hard facts of owning a customised bass, particularly a customised Warwick sadly.
