850,- EUR? Just counting my bottle caps to get that 10string, otherwise I would risk to buy this one.

Let´s build an Arche with the bodies of Vester-basses. So they get an useful task in the end!

It's all very well you saying it is fixed buddy, but to get a sale you are going to need to tell us who fixed it and what methods he used to make such a serious neck crack secure and future proofed against further damage caused by truss rod turning.

I would love a SSII of this vintage, but this vagueness on damage, particularly not disclosing in the first post that the crack was at least originally more than superficial and has already been repaired, puts me off completely. I have already had an SS1 with very similar damage and a very respected luthier told me the glued neck would only be okay if I never touched the truss rod again and kept the same guage strings so tension on the neck didn't change; is this what your luthier told you?

+ there is a little superficial splinter in the back of the headstock

You mean this, Kev? I would call that intentional misinforming bit a bold lie.
Superficial my buttcrack. It is clear the seller can't be trusted.

well in many cases the neck does not break
but as Flo said it cracks due to some extra strain
on the week area.
Having seen a lot of cracked necks I'd say this is one of the
cases where the bass fell on the headstock and the neck cracked but in principal
the headstock remained in place "quite stable"
in short O would not worry too much;)

my best apologies for that "frammentato" " is on online dictionary mentioned as splinter - crack - sliver - splint -fragment - strap
later i see my misanderstending and tried to fix into the speech, no worry, it is not my aim to go wrong in
just this bass as u see, i posted the foto of that crack, and dimarco talk me i'm a lier...
and yes the crack is little and in superficial as u can see from my pics.
if i was for real a lier i would'nt post the good picture about the crack....

the crack was fixed many years ago by a luthier from varese (IT) that i dunno, with a glue paste for this work

kev the luthier where i went before I purchased the bass 2 years ago told me that this rework is quite stable and does not affect the neck stability or anithing else

i'm a sheep in english, before another mistake try to traduce it:
il manico rimane stabile nonostante il danno che comunque non ha influito sullo strumento, la frammentazione è stata stuccata con una colla apposita per le riparazioni di legni e mobili e non fuoriesce nemmeno, solo che si denota particolarmente, il danno non è profondo. non ti cambierà mai niente nè a livello di feeling nè di stabilità del manico, il truss rod è al 100% funzionante in ogni caso

trust ur google translate or ur online dictionary if really insterested, i'm sick of inconvenients and i'm always here to purchase bass and I have never betrayed the trust of anyone wich i had to deal

the only reason i'm selling this is for purchase a 5 strings bass, needing a goos low B for my project.

I believe you, I don't call you a liar. We know this issue here on the forum because we've seen more of them.
850 EUR is a fair price in this condition IMHO, but change that jack :)
