Hi I have one ES signature Made in Germany and I noticed that on the official specification there are Fluorescent dots on the side but my one doesn't, and even the matched wooden electronics compartment has a black plastic cover.

Did you changed the specs in the years?

    Thank you

    Emanuele

First off, welcome to the forum!

I think the fluorescent dots have only been around for the last three years and wooden compartment covers, truss rod covers and tuner grips were introduced even more recently.

I personally think the wooden bits look cheesy but then again I have no good taste in instrument related stuff. ;)

Hi Florin, and thank you Di Marco for the welcome.
    The serial number is F 156922 11

I don't know if Framus is still making this guitar, I'm just curious to know how many of them are around.
I mean of the proper Germany made not the korea version.

    Ciao, Emanuele.

That´s a gorgeous Framus you have there, love that model. Great colection of gear you have, too. Congrats.

Nice one :) I own a Framus myself (Renegade Custom) and would not ever want to part with it.

Yes. I'll be down there in a few minutes. I'll see which models/years these are. At least one is German.

    Hi Chris,
I thick are all three from the German custom shop, the nut is black like in my one.
Probably they have the three ladies since the opening day.
And they also had a black one just like the mine few month ago.
Maybe they know exactly how many they made.

Yes. One of the red ones is gone, now. There is an additional black one, though. So, four total (one is probably out on loan to an artist) - All German.

    They are very nice guitars.

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but it looks like this may be the best (only) place on the web to get some in depth info on the Earl Slick Signature. Is there any way to look up details on an Earl Slick Signature based on a serial number? F 156943 11
