I remember I saw (yes, I know, I only saw) a real Echoplex unit doing it´s magic like 15 years ago. And I guess that´s the reason why I don´t really like digital delays, that machine was something else and the resulting sound was unique, dirty and not-even-close-to perfect, and that was the reason it was perfect to me (I don´t like digital octave pedals, for example, I like glitches and s***).

Am I the only one who wants to try one of these with a bass?

Interesting question. I sold my analog carboncopy delay because I prefer a delay that stays tight and clear. For me the digital Akai sounded better and that one was operating at 44.1khz, 16bit.

I much prefer analog over digital. I don't have robot ears, so digital does nothing for me.

I'll also try anything on bass. Does that answer your question? Lol
