I think it would be a cool topic... :)

I thought of a custom shop Infinity, got on a photo editing program... put the woods and made everything out to get what I was looking for and then it says it has to shut down  so now I can't share the picture with you all...

I'm not even sure if some of this is possible in the shop but what the heck. :p

    6 String Infinity NT
Hollowed out Ovangkol body, Tigerwood top, Yellowheart middle (f-holes)
3 layer Ovangkol 2 layers Wenge neck
    Wenge Fingerboard
    Name Inlay
    Natural Stain High Polish Finish
    Active MEC J/TJ pickups
    Active MEC 3-band electronics

    :D

yup, all strewn together from bits and pieces from varioous custom shop basses...

From what I understand, the only truly impossible one at this stage is the 6-string $$, since the 6-string open-pole humbuckers are not available through the warwick custom shop, but from what I've heard, they might be in the not so-distant future...

the 10 and 5-with-buzzard headstock are the most realistic (although not cheap...)

    Corvette NT 4 string fretted
    Passive P/J MEC pickups
    Passive preamp
    Gold Hardware
    AAA Flamed Maple body
Maple and Wenge neck (like the wenge and yellowheart neck of the Flamin Blonde)
No headstock cap (so you can see the neck woods)
Maple and wenge fingerboard (matching the neck)

Can this be done Ollie? :D

This one's just for looks. I'm sure it sounds poor..............but here goes:

Thumb 5 NT with Ebony neck and two Bubinga stringers. Body is made of solid Macassar Ebony, with a pitch black Ebony fretboard................Ahhhhhhhhh, I bet it's heavier than two regular basses....................(or not)...............

Sounds good! Would you have E as the lowest string or do you just need to detune that string?

I would keep a B string. I find that open D is much easier for alot of music than using the D on the B string, for stuff like Tool, RATM and other stuff, even som RHCP. The D-Tuner wouldnt be used alot, but it would be worth it.
