Unfortunately you have no choice. The JE has the smaller beak and the bolt on has the 2+2 Warwick headstock.

When I ordered my JE I asked for the oversized JE headstock, but only the smaller one was possible.

Unfortunately not. The buzzard JE and the stryker both have the smaller "beak" headstock. The older style larger headstock can only be found on earlier vintage Buzzards...

edit: oops, curtis replied at the same time...

is it a option as to which style of headstock on JE buzzzard?

Actually you can't. You can only get the longer HS on the vintage JE models. The smaller one comes standard on all the current JE models.

Woops. You guys already answered the question.

At least we posted the same.

Sorry mate but the longer headstocks are only for vintage Buzzards.

The short ones are on the new JE models.

 Whoops, you guys already posted that.

Hi there!

Okay, here's the answer:

The bolt on Buzzards have the normal 2+2 Warwick headstock.
The JE neck through has the smaller beak. The oversized one isn't available anymore.

Currently, yes, it is unavailable through the Custom Shop, Which means that if you absolutaly positively need to have one of the big beaked buzzards, you need to track down a vintage buzzard (with the cost constraints that it might bring...) and buy that...

Isn't the larger beak just unavailable at this current time?
