    Thanks Martin.
I was also referring to the Adam Clayton signature bass thread as well.
I think you guys will agree when I say we moderate very little around here. You guys are so cool,it's just not needed. But sometimes I have to blow the whistle & give a ten yard penalty.I think long & hard before ever resorting to it,& usually in close collaboration with Florin,to make sure I'm not going off half cocked,or letting any personal problems cloud my judgment. You're one of the more responsible members here Neil,& I love the fact we can all voice our opinions, without resorting to insults &/or abuse. But,being human beings,we all have our little emotional episodes,& that's also what makes the world a great place. The fact we can forgive & forget.Oh crap.I'm getting old.The philosopher in me just tried to wriggle out & bore you all with feelgood poetry.
Anyway.I think you guys understand what I'm trying to say here.
I wrote out a really long & thought out reply Neil, but my bloody PC locked up & I lost the post.I hate it when that happens.
    Anyway,again.
Have a merry & safe new year's eve guys.
Try not to get arrested if ya going out for a drink.
    :d

    **& thanks to Martin.
It's always great & reassuring to know that someone agrees when I'm trying to play referee.
    Cheers mate.:d

    Unfortunatly no Sascha.
As with all signatures,no CS additions.
But you could get a CS bass with the additional spacs you require.;)

This new years eve, is not only a full moon,it's a blue moon. That's the second full moon for the month of december,so the nuttyness is intesified 2 fold. Not that I'm saying that's the reason I'm becoming civilized.I'll skip a shower & be back to normal within 12 hours.;)
At least this would explain some of the things that've been happening lately."Things" seem to be at an extreme 10.1 the past couple of days.

I hate it when that happens too, but then I realize my PC is trying to tell me something. It's trying to tell me to shut the f**k up! But I'm sure your PC wouldn't dream to saying that to you Greg!

Hey, you're welcome mate, just put the cheque in the post and I'll back you up any time you want ;)

Oh my its looks better bigger...:)

I really dig the flames if i ever get an infinity i want flames from the f holes.

The only think I think that would make it better if the portrait of bootsy had him holding the same bass.

And greg i fully agree and support your comments - definitely were needed

Guys, Greg is 100% right. Yes, we are free to love or hate music, basses, etc...

But we forget that the musicians, bass builders, etc, are humnas too, our brothers too. When you (we) comment Bootsy, Adam Clayton, Ryan Martinie, Fieldy, etc, think of them like they are humans not icons.
Imagine they are actually forum members, and they actually read our comments. (most of them read our comments...)
So keep in mind that good comments make them happy, and bad comments make them sad. They are only bass players like us, reading the posts...

So we are free to like/ hate basses, music, misicians, etc. But we are also free to be polite or unpolite.
With just a little attention, we can say what we think, without hurting other's feelings.

Bootsy is Funk Bass God! That's all that matters to me.

    Flo

First, and Im sorry, but is that bass real? it looks like a photoshop job to me.

As for how it looks, I think any infinity is cool and for Bootsy, I think that is/would be a outstanding bass. Definately captures his persona and isnt that the point of a sig bass. Actually, as someone else already stated, I think its a bit tame by Bootsy standards.

Would I buy it, no ... But I am sure there are Bootsy fans out there and even some Warwick collectors that would.

But all in all ... its a cool bass

Sorry Greg, I hadn't noticed the other threads. And if you just read what was said in this one, as I did, you'll realise why I thought you went a bit over the top.

Now I have read them and I completely understand your reaction.

You guys do a great job moderating the forum for little or no reward, so I really appreciate your work.

Happy new year to all. :)

No worries Neil.I should've left some links to the threads.
& thanks heaps to everyone for the positive remarks. They're very much appreciated.
Moderating this forum's an absolute pleasure which requires very little,if any effort. The main reason I volunteer to do this is because of you guys.Volunteers do what they do for 2 basic reasons. It has to be done,or it's personally rewarding. For me,it's the latter.I always explain if anything needs to be deleted & there's always the option of un-deleting if it's democratically decided that's the best course of action to take.In fact, the xmas break has probably been the busiest moderating season thus far,in the history of our forum. That's right. It's,"OUR" forum. And it's success is all down to one reason,it's members & their enthusiasm to have a nice, positive, friendly & informative online medium in which to partake.
    Holy crap,listen to me!!
I sound like a blow hard politician here.
So before my PC decides to display that bloody,"Not Responding" thing,& this post is relegated to what I can remember of it,I'll say adios amigos.

    Cheers guys.
You lot make it all worthwhile.
    :)

To be honest, if I had heard Bootsy got a signature Warwick bass, the last model I would have thought of is the Infinity.
But it seems it has worked out really nice, the f-holes became flame holes... :)
