    Great playing!
You have an extremely efficient approach with your right hand - very impressive.

Bought a post production fretted Fretless V-String 1987; "The body wood is solid Bubinga with a neck-through construction. The neck wood is Wenge with Bubinga and the fretboard is Ebony. This is because the bass was originally fretless (Ebony fretboards came with fretless basses only) and was made fretted early in its life. "

Two things to do; either Buy a Nut for fretted Bass or de-fret and still have no idea how to fill the lines..... any reccomendations?

I bought a Dirty Blonde a few weeks ago in Belgium. Looked great and after changing the strings to DR Low Riders it also sounded great. But in the custom shop a saw a Thumb with gold hardware. WOW, that even looked much better. So I ordered a full set of gold hardware, tuners, nut III, knobs and bridge, put them on my Dirty Blonde and the result was absolute stunning. Now I'm really in love with this bass. It even sounds much better now, cause of the nut III and the bridge I guess. Now I have a problem with the name, is it now a Dirty Blonde special, a Dirty Blonde custom, a Beayty Blonde or a Blonde Beauty. I prefer the last one. So here are some pics.

Thanks, Florin. The seller only had the bass. So no certificate, no tools and no case. But I'm very happy with the bass and it only weighs 3,3 kg. For a five-string I ordered the new Sadowsky Metro Expresss. Have to wait another 3 months for it, if there is no further delay because of the corona mess.

Well, the certificate is a piece of paper, the tools are 5, 2.5 and 1.5mm alen keys you can easily find, and the case is too bulky anyway for regular use :) So still a great deal!
Did you order one of those made by Warwick?

Yes, I ordered the Sadowsky at the Warwick shop in Olympic White, so not the Japanese one. It probably has RSD on the headstock, unless Roger has got his brand name back in China. I might change the pre-amp to the VTC one, but I'm not sure yet, if it's worth the price.
For the Dirty Blonde I bought a very light SKB case, fits perfectly.

I don't think upgrading the preamp will do much. If it has a bypass switch, that would be my go-to setting anyway, and add a color when engaged.

I'm not sure, but it looks like it is only active.

Here a picture of the Sadowsky I ordered. Have to wait another 12 weeks.
