Wow... it looks kinda harsh on zebrano, good decision it leave it as it is.
So, i found this :

And tried it on an old Ikea board.
Worked fast, fairly accurately.
It removed the varnish and "sandblasted" the veneer without removing it.
So, i tried it on the neck pocket of the buzzard :

It's not good enough. It removes the color and oil, but... It turns out that Zebrano is fairly soft, and the steel wheel attcks it way too hard. So i get a really nice, "sandblasted" look, but the Zebrano structure is way too fine and I won't be able to seal it again.
I guess I'll leave it as it is.
I like it that way anyway
Now that this is solved, another question.
I'll mod the electronics to get a "Masterman" type of controls.
Stacked Vol/Bal with PP, Stacked Treble/Bass for bridge and Stacked treble bass for Neck.
The 60006 diagram shows a Mec M62110 stacked pot for the T/B controls (that are apparently obsolete...). I have a MEC M85110, equipped with a "platine" that I can't find on the Website. (i found the bare pot).
I tried to get in touch with the Warwick team, but got no answer after the second exchange.
Anyone has an idea to get this platine ?
Thanks,
H
I bought a set of MEC $$ with the same treble/bass pot, and same BEC2 platine. I should receive it shortly.you will need 2 separate bec II
me thinks
They make a vol/vol pot, you can get one here:Thought about it. Unfortunately, EMG soen't make a stacked Vol/Pan pot. (I asked )
