I was, again, drooling over Wicks' on Bass Central when I found this (sadly already sold) Corvette :

Why don't I have such a grain on my Thumb... :sigh: :D

every piece of bubinga has its own personality :)

    warwick-woods always look good.

morgoth, i find yours to be great too. it´s always the same. when your bass looks quite plain you wish to have a more swirly one. and the other way round. i´ve got the same "problem" with my corvette. however, i still love her :)

I'd love to see a Bubinga Body that has both the amazing swirly grain of your Streamer, Ian, and the, well, stripes / flames of the Corvette. Hum. : drool: :give-me-some-money:

I can't get enough of that wood. :x

I 've posted this more than once, but I don't mind the ridicule.
I wish this were my bass.

i think the bubinga pummel on the thumbs will always have that cool swirly grain, its unusual to see such an awesome pattern on a corvette though.

Think i would have bought it too if i'd seen it!! (If it wasn't left handed!)
