Yeah, Adam has never played bass on "40". Even to this day when it's played, The Edge plays the bass part.

The Edge always played the bass line for "40" as he wrote that line for the song and played it on the album.

A couple of questions for those from Warwick that might know the answers - Artist Rep etc.

It is hard to tell from the picture, it's dark. But what is the finish on Adam's Streamer Stage 1?

Also are the 'vintage' for the following of Adam's Warwick basses? What year are they?

    1) Buzzard (black)
    2) Stryker (the black one)
    3) Stryker (inverted model - is this a production model or custom job?)
    4) Streamer
    5) Dolphin. Also what finish is his Dolphin?

    Thanks in advance.

Two more good pictures from "Hot Press" site of Adam with his Stryker from the Croke Park, Dublin shows in late July.

Freddy... do you happen to know which The Who documentary? Entwistle seemed to always sound so great! I'd like to see the documentary that was mentioned.

OK ... maybe I'm thick, but that bass looks like a reverse Stryker with a Version 2.0 Buzzard headstock. Did I miss something? I've only ever seen Strykers with the paddle headstock, and I've never seen a reverse Stryker. Am I losin' me mind?

Yes,well.I dont wanna talk about that particular bass.It might only be a one off,but I think it's just wrong.Imagine if there was a reverse Buzzard?
It's kinda like what an upside down crucifix is to a catholic, but less religous. If that makes sense.:)

That reverse Stryker kinda reminds me of one of those big pointy finger gloves at footie matches!
