I'm using la bella clear wrapped strings. They feel super smooth so don't chew up your fingers. Sound really tuneful. Expensive but with the wrap will last for ever I suspect.

I got over that horrible feeling of sliding on my b string with phosphor bronze. Yuk

La Bella Tapewound White Nylon 750T is what I use, and it's what I like!

When I bought my Fender Kingman acoustic the stock strings were Phosphor Bronze which to me sounded terrible and also produced excessive finger noise. After an extensive internet search on reviews I opted for the La Bella White Nylons of which I am happy with. I cannot say that I am an expert on Acoustic Bass strings as I have only tried the original stock Bronze and the La Bellas, but I would buy the La Bellas again when the time comes. Tapewounds or Flatwounds would be my choice but I aint going to experiment, I will leave all experimentation for my solid bodied Basses.
