Price 775€
Up for sale is my awesome and collectible Warwick Fortress One from 1993. Made in Germany, this is one of the very first ever to be produced as confirmed by Hans-Peter Wilfer (Warwick CEO).
Overall the bass is in very good condition, especially for a 28 year old instrument. All of the electronics work perfectly, as does the truss rod and the hardware. The fretboard has been cleaned and oiled, the frets have been cleaned and polished.
Controls are volume, blend, tone, tone
Lovely ergonomic and exceptionally well balanced bass - the best balancing Warwick by far thanks to the extra long upper horn. Nice and lightweight too at only 3.6kg!
The bass is not perfect though, there is some damage to the body as shown in the photos. The damage is NOT structural and is no cause for concern, it has been repaired and you wont notice it sonically or while playing. Also, the cavity cover is a little fiddly to take off but can be done - then again it is passive so you wont be needing to open it very often!
The bass will be shipped in a Warwick gig bag, packed within a strong shipping carton.
