Is your Thumb pre a three band EQ or a two band?

That's a 2 band. Which is normal for a '95 Thumb BO. The 2 band has just that tiny board that's attached to one of the pots. The 3 band has a much larger board, that's separate from the pot.

Yes, that's the correct replacement... The 60003.

I resoldering all the suspect connections and try it tomorrow. If it doesn t work anymore i will change it.

One obvious question, you already replaced the battery? :)
And change the cable jack, before you replace the whole electronic.

The wire with no shielding is the ground that goes to the baseplate of your bridge as well as (usually) the input jack. One side to the jack...the other goes under the battery to the saddle plate.

Actually, you might not need to do anything with the other end of that non-shielded wire. As long as it's connected to the saddle baseplate and one of the pots, as is...that should be good. The input jack has a purple, white and black wire connected to it. That's normal. That end of it you see is just the extra wire they wrapped around. Sorry for my previous advice.

Hello,
I cleaned all the Electronic, brand new battery and jack. The sound is way better, but a still have a Bzzzzz on the tone switch.
I ordered completly New electronic 60003.

Stay tune.... Lol

Yes my Thumb is back to the business!!
I recovery my sound !
Change the Electronic is very easy 4 solders and it is finish.
Thanks for all the support.
