    Hi all,

I've been wrestling with this for the last several months and have decided to put up my '89 Dolphin Pro I. According to HPW, it is one of the first 30 dolphins made and the only '89 in factory black. She's a beauty, but I cannot justify holding onto her for the collector value. As a player, it is a monster bass with a very fast neck. Anyone looking at this will know the specs and the history. I've got it listed on Reverb, but will let it go to a forum member for much cheaper. She's in great condition, with a few scrapes, but no cracks or repairs of any kind. Due to CITES, I cannot ship overseas, so this sale is for the continental USA only. I'd let her go for $3500 + shipping. Ships insured in a used but hardcore flight case. Below are some images and a recording sample. Thanks gents! :)

It makes the platinum hardware really pop! The high gloss has so much more soul over a matte finish. ;)

I'm starting a new job soon, so give me about 6 months and I'll be all over this ;)

Of course for your sake, hoping it sells quicker :)

At this point guys, I wouldn't get rid of it if I didn't have to. I might put up the Ritter and keep whichever doesn't sell. The Dolphin is an awesome bass. My favorite Warwick to date! :D

Well, the Ritter sold in a matter of hours...so Black Beauty might be staying in the stable for awhile to come! What a monster bass!

Wow, I once owned this instrument and can vouch for it as an awesome example of a Dolphin, and a Warwick. I'd love to have it back!

@Woolf if CITES weren't an issue, I would certainly be open to chatting with you about it. :)

Good news. There has been a recent change to CITES. Starting in a few months, you'll be able to ship without permits.

If the CITES issue is resolved and this is still for sale then, I'll give it some serious thought, it would be a glorious reunion for me!
