I guess i'll have to try wedge against ovangkol to see, hear and feel the difference!
...and concerning Pus most people i talked to (in the forum and in real life) sooner or later came to the point of changing their pair of MECs on Warwicks, not all but at least e few...
...well and the piezo...
I'm looking forward to seeing and playing it too! Will have to consult my financial minister here @ home and then i'm ready :o)!
I could not find this Coromandel wood type in the CS price list but i think i'll stick with ebony! Love the looks and the feel of it...
Hi,
i am planning to order a Thumb NT 5 Fretless and since trying one is practically impossible i am wondering about some things.
What i want to have absolutely are broad neck and matched hesdstock...but :
1. why are so many people changing from ovangkol to wenge neck when ordering a thumb...
I found this absolutely gorgeous SSI in the CS Gallery!
Warwick Basses Amps & Rock'n Roll
What would be the sound of such an all maple bass (body, neck and fretboard)?
Well i saw the Roots on the NHL Winter Classics Game and there he was actually playing his Star Bass! As far as it concerns JF i can't say anything because i can't watch! All i can say though is : go and get the last Roots album UNDUN, it's simply groovin' like hell!!!
Hi Florin, thanks...
Well i tend towards a growly fat sound! What Pups would you suggest? ...and i am considering an ebony board too!! ...maybe an ash body/spalted maple top with maple neck... What'd be the sound finally then?
Hi everybody on the forum, i'm back again ;),
i am planning to buy an Infinity 5 BUT changing the 16,5mm string spacing to 20mm...which forces me to get other PUs... Does anyone have an advice what pair to chose and what sound differences do i have to expect then?
Hi fellows,
i may need your help : i just want some statements from you who have a 5 stringer (with normal string spacing as on SS2...) concerning your slap-style. How does it feel? Are the strings not too close to each other?
Just give me some ideas, thanks...
