It could be AAAA or AAAAA. AAA quilt typically isn't 100% uniform.
After that you get "presentation" grade or something like that which is super 3D with a very pronounced pattern.
The "standard" profile used by Warwick is 19.5 mm at 1st fret and a typical vintage '60s style Fender J bass can be around 20 mm or even a bit more.

I think the threads on Warwick rods are finer than Fender too, which makes it easier. To me a 1/4 turn on a Warwick rod has the same effect as maybe an 1/8 turn on most other basses. So it's more gentle.
Sighting down the neck from one end to another is not an easy way to judge the amount of relief, but a twisted neck will give itself away immediately this way. The first Warwick vid shows the guy sighting it with the bass in playing position...this is the easiest way to check relief.
