    No ordinary German instruments?

Are you saying that Warwick's little square sized website doesn't work properly? Nahhh

Would you send it to Warwick in order to fret it? if not it would be really sad, like murdering a Custom Shop Warwick with a poor fretwork. Is there any specific reason why you requested a fretless CS and now changed your mind? Didn't match your expectations? or did you buy it used?

    2015 Limited Edition !

2015 LTD -> It looks like a pair of jeans with a piece of wood coming out of the zipper.. not my thing. These are good news for me anyway, my Warwick Wishlist is too large for my wallet already. I wonder if there will ever be a "Fretless" oriented LTD.. something with piezo and good sounding...

    No ordinary German instruments?

I am pretty sure that will be a custom shop option. They look horrible in my opinion, but it doesn't hurt to have more options when building your dream bass. I am sure some people may like it, I prefer the good ol' and reliable black hardware. I just hope prices don't sky rocket for those who...

It is the next step after V frets. You can't say you played bass unless you played a banana neck.

    twin jazz replacement?

Here is the reply from Delano: So, it seems to be the "easier" way to switch to an all passive TJ/J config. In case someone even wonders. If I go through with this mod in my Corvette, I will upload some samples. There is very little information online, less samples.

    twin jazz replacement?

Soo.. bringing this good ol' thread back to life.. Did you find a Passive Twin? I read somewhere that Delano DJC 4 HE/M2 can be custom ordered with MEC TJ size. Do you have the exact dimensions of the MEC TJ?

    MEC Twin Jazz.. PASSIVE?

Thanks for your insight DiMarco.. it makes sense. Although I use my bass electronics very differently. Going for a Passive pups/electronics approach I mostly use either the bridge OR neck MEC Jazz pup alone, mellowing the sound with the TONE control should it be needed. This gives me 2 very...

    Neck profile

Which one is better depends on what you like and want. I own a Corvette Std Bubinga Fretless.. and the mid-range and growl coming out of that bass is heaven. Ash tends to be warmer and lighter, with good lows and highs, but not very pronounced mids. Sounds fatter, but can get boomy if you have...

    MEC Twin Jazz.. PASSIVE?

Hi there, Quick question.. have you seen or heard a PASSIVE twin jazz pickup manufactured by MEC? or do you know if you could order one from Warwick? That is something I always wonder when looking at Dolphin and Infinity models, being a "passive tone" guy. I also recently tried a friend's...

The bubinga version is not far from that weight.. I wouldn't compromise body tone wood for a couple of grams. But that's just my opinion.

    Thumb "neckdive" solution (controversial)

In my case I believe it would get in the way of my thumb when playing past the 12th fret in the 1st string.. and would be a pain in the.. thumb. And even if it didn't, I still don't want to think about avoiding that strap button, I want to focus on the front of the neck  The real deal is...
