In my local store there is only 1 Warwick present. But....
It is a brandnew, well at least not second hand, FNA Jazzman LTD 2004. I'm keeping it quiet, because I'm saving up for it and one day it'll be mine. If it's still there that is, somewhere, in this small town....

Since a few months I have the same exact Katana. Retailprice was 3095 euro including flightcase. Normal would be a 15% discount, at least here in Holland. BTW it's a gorgeous bass!
I wonder how much time you all spent on maintaing your bass(es). Like waxing, wiping it off, adjusting the bridge/elements, repairs and intonating, stuff like that. Not changing batteries or strings.
A bit ashamed I am, I did no such things the last 13 years I played the same bass...
A bonus does rule.
I'm working all this year, no holidays, so I can order a "Bass to end all basses" customshop Warwick from the bonus for that.

In most cases this due to badly shielded cables, which could cause the cable to work as an antenna.

What I would look for is a cab with a higher sensitivity. A 3 db higher sensitivity gives you twice the soundpressure.
Considering the rest equal:
1000 watts in a 97 db (sensitivity) cab gives you the same percieved volume as 100 watts in a 100 db (sensitivity) cab. If you look around you...
From the money I spent on strings, I could have bought a collection like Mats :wink:
I tried boiling strings exactly once; I don't like it! Maybe I should have take it of first :D
But seriously I changed the strings to elixers, they stay fresh at least 3 times longer and they play very...
