... "DON'T PANIC" Two simple words were emblazoned across that note. Bold, yet surprisingly friendly, foreboding, but yet somehow, reassuring; "DON'T PANIC"
It was at that precise moment, in a laboratory, in a building, on a planet, clear across the universe, in a galaxy, never before nor...
Well I for one was mostly making a joke ... Sorry, didn't realize this thread was so serious there was no room for humor. Gerry, if I offended you I am sorry, wasn't my intention ...
Now it looks like its time for me to take a break again .... Don't bother replying, I won't be here to read it
Well said Flo. As I have posted about in other threads, I believe that it is very important to teach a new student the proper way of playing and insist that they do not deviate from it. That includes proper positioning, 1 finger per fret, ect ect ect ... This gives the student a solid...
Have to agree ... Not their greatest work, but still there are some pretty cool tracks on it. I also agree the is some pretty tasty drum tracks. A fine example of a drummer that really understands how to use accents to add to the depth and flavor of the piece rather than just plow through it...
Yea, I know there really is no shame on me, but it is so hard to see that and not feel sad. Yeah it was a different time, but that doesn't make it right. Having so many of my ancestors from the American south I should have known and expected it, but it still took me by surprise.
I guess...
OMG ... I am working on another line, and ran into my 8th great grandfather William Crabtree who was born in Broughton, Yorkshire, England and died in the USA. One of the things I found was an abstract of his last will and testament. I was shocked by what I saw and frankly I feel shamed by it...

Wow Thibault, great response and exactly the sort of thing I was hoping for. I actually learned a lot and you really opened my eyes. Funny, immigration within Europe, especially that long ago, never occured to me. And while I was never great in history and/or geography, I do know enough that...
One of my absolute favorite soups is a mexican soup called Menudo, made with beef stomach, so the sheeps stomach shouldn't be too bad. BUT .... I don't do lungs, hearts, livers, etc., so I'll be leaving the haggis for the real men.
I just cut and pasted it from one of the stories I read, so...
I was wondering ... is Geneology popular in Europe or other parts of the world? I have been trying to do my families Geneology and recently have been finding some interesting things.
First, growing up, I never even knew my dads parents name; he always told me he didn't remember. I met my...
What is it they say .... Clevleand Rocks! Like the band, your music has lots of power and energy, but when I watched the video, I didn't see it. That is my only critque; When you're performing live, especially if you know video is being shot, you should really be puttin on a show. Not saying...
Wow... Killer Job Gerry! Love the sound of your bass. I think I was hearing some of the original bass part also, but so what, it wasn't distracting at all because Jerry nailed it so well and frankly, I personally like Gerry's tone better. It's similar to the original, but to my ear, has alot...
