Refinished FNA

I had an FNA that had some issues so I gave it a facelift. Brass JAN 3, new paint, Bart MM pickup, ag 3 band pre. It sounds badass. Love this bass:)

Where are the "after" pictures ? :twisted:



No, sorry, jut kidding. The paint job seem to be different at every picture. What is the real color ?

It is a tie dye finish using wet sanding. Teal, white, and grey. Then lacquer is put on top of that.

What materials did you use? What did you prime it with? I'm about to refinish a warwick and I want a friend to free hand on it so I pla to lay down primer and then a base coat or two of white for him to go to town over. Then after, we lacquer it up to protect it.

How much are re finishes do you mind me asking?? i would have asked for a matching headstock!
