Not groundbreaking photos by any means but I thought they would make nice backgrounds/wallpapers for some of you. These were taken this morning as I went out to warm my car up.
Thank you for sharing, but it looks like you might have inadvertently selected the thumbnail option instead of full size -
If it was shortly after sunset or before sunrise, it was most likely Venus. Venus can be the second brightest object in the night sky, after the Moon. But because it goes through phases (full, quarter, etc) like the Moon does, it's brightness varies. And since it is inside Earth's orbit, it never gets very far from the Sun when viewed from the Earth. That's today's astronomy lesson. ; )The moon was beautiful last Saturday evening- and I believe the bright body alongside was Venus-

You can take the lens off, reverse it, and butt it against the camera body and voila, macro lens.Attempting macro without a macro lens. This was made with my 18-140mm on 7.2x zoom.
Don't think I can get close enough so looking for a proper macro lens soonish.
Depth of field was very shallow due to the focal length I'd set the lens at. It was intentional.Looks nice but that is a lot of bokeh you got going on there.
