Nice photos. If you’re an aviation aficionado, you might check out the U.S. Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, Florida as well.

The naval museum has a number of non-naval aircraft and across different eras as well. The last time I was there they had an ME-262 and Japanese Zero along with a French Nieuport and a Fokker DVIII amongst others. It's on NAS Pensacola but they'll let you in if you show them ID and sign in.Man I have always had a thing for WWII aircraft. These are from the newer museum in VA, I have been to the on in DC numerous times. If I ever get down that way I will for sure. We saw some cool stuff 8n San Diego also on the USS Midway.
I've never been there but would like to go sometime. Not far from where I live, there's the Lone Star flight museum at the Galveston airport. It's not near as big but has various WW II aircraft including still-flying B-17, B-25, P-47 , and SBD Dauntless. According to the website, they offer rides on the B-17, B-25, and AT6 Texan trainer. In VA they actually had an me-262 me163 and I think the Arado jet bomber which I think is only one left. Very cool. Enola Gay their, as well as Space Shuttle and an SR-71. Place is huuuuuge. Link to their site hereSteven F. Udvar-Hazy Center
They sound really cool too- the staccato exhaust of the radial engine aircraft, and the P-51 that sounds like a V-12 Jag on steroids-Hahaha... glad to know you guys also love old WWII planes. My favorite are Corsairs, P-51s and P-47s...
I´d love to see a ME-262, actually. No love for any German planes???
