Used to have frets, a long time back a previous owner must have disliked those little brass speed bumps. My first decent fretless and it plays itself. Many years ago had a cheap squire fretless jazz that sounded and played like poop. From that I’d say get a decent one and/or get someone who knows fretless to do a good setup on it.

I didn't think about the set up part....I guess it would be a little different then a fretted. Thank you for mentioning that

Beautiful bass BTW!

I highly recommend having at least one fretless in your collection. They're fun!

I agree.....FWIW, I'm trying to keep my herd to minimum, but I think a fretless is a necessity, especially if I want to keep playing this Country/Rock stuff
My first thought was a Corvette like the one in your post....so well see :)

When I posted this beauty to the EBMM fanboi forum
it received mixed reviews ... such as shock, horror, etc.

The neck is Moses Graphite FL and I turned one of the
tuners to the other edge of the HS, to honor an EBMM
tradition ... acoarst it's still a four-in-line for the string
pegs. The graphics on the HS are just stickers, a little
swag or case candy from an EBMM retailer. The super
cool retro style knobs are from Radio Shack.
