What absolute rubbish!!! I just called to inquire about acquiring a replacement tuning machine that broke on my Thumb last night. They're response was "We don't have a list of inventory. We don't know what parts we have on hand." Are you freakin' kidding me?! What the hell kind of company are you that you don't even know what products you have in stock? Don't give me that lame excuse about just taking over the distributorship two weeks ago. It is your job to know! I hope that this is not how you plan to conduct your business in the future. I have been considering selling/trading my Warwick for another brand anyway. This just may make my decision easier for me.

Well, I hope your decision to change your gear is based on personal taste, or quality choice. Because if it is not, the it is your loss :)

Warwick distribution for US after 2 weeks? are you kidding me? I think you should be more patient with them, as I am almost 100% sure you are not that good with whatever you do in your real life, to expect a Warwick Distribution for US to be perfect after 2 weeks. You don't know what this means man...

Change your brand if you don't like Warwick, or treat us like human beings trying to give you the best instruments, if you want to be trated the same.

Cheers,

Flo

My, my indeed. It seems as if this is not an open forum where we are free to express our thoughts or opinions, especially if they differ from the moderator's, right Florin? I don't know about you, but I grew up in a country where people were not censored for speaking their mind. Below is my response to your post Florin. You know, the one that you blocked me from posting yesterday.

"Sounds like I struck a nerve. I realize that some logistics may need to be worked out in the initial stages of a new business venture. However, I expect a company to know the details of their business. I do not expect to be told that you "don't know what is in your current inventory" and that it will be "at least two weeks before you figure it all out." Okay, your inventory is a wreck and you don't have a clue as to what is in the boxes in front of you. Fine. At least have the courtesy and professionalism to take down my information and tell me that you will do your best to find the part that I need and that you will get back to me as soon as you can find an answer. It seems that so many companies these days are losing sight of a critical element that keeps them in business, customer service. I sincerely hope that US Music Corp. can deliver the same professional and courteous service that DBG did, but this is definitely not a good start.

My Warwick doesn't sit in the corner collecting dust. It gets played several times a week. How would it be if your new local car dealership told you that you will have to wait a couple of weeks before they figure out if they have the part that will make it run properly? Until then, you can just walk.

And yes, my decision to seek out other brands of basses is part personal taste and part quality.

As for your personal attack, it is completely unprofessional and uncalled for. I thought this was a forum where we can express our thoughts and opinions openly and freely. I don't believe I spoke with you on the phone when I called with my inquiry. Therefore, the comments I made were not directed at you. And an assumption that I am not successful at what I do is completely baseless. If you really must know, I am an INVENTORY ANALYST for a multi-billion dollar corporation that was founded in 1887 and is located in just about every country on the planet."

Peace

Ouch! It seems you know a lot about us after 2 posts. Yes, I grew in Romania, under heavy communist regime, and it is something I don't want to live again. Thanks for your kindness though, I suppose it is cool to be born in US.

I didn't blocked any of your comments, you probably did something wrong. My email is [email protected] if you need forum assistance. I deleted or edited very few posts in my 4 years of being moderator, mostly for hard insulting, racism, and stuff like that. I didn't stopped you posting on this forum.

I do agree with you that they should take your information down, and call you back when they solve the problem. Maybe you just talked to the wrong guy, and maybe it is not very clear who is supposed to do what there...

Look, I didn't wanted to sound harsh to you, or attack you in any way... I just say that maybe you give them a little time to accommodate, because it is a real tough gig now.

In the meanwhile, please contact the NY Showroom, and they will help you find a solution, I guess much sooner than 2 weeks.

I think I overreacted, and I am sorry.

Peace!

I am having issues with the neck on my bass. I have tried getting a hold of U.S. Music Corp and left a couple messages and have not heard back. My bass is under warranty and now I'm curious on where to turn to now??

Hey Mark,

The right way to do it is to contact the dealer that sold you the bass, and it is their obligation to take care of your bass.

I bought the bass online brand new and I called and talked to him and he said that I have to talk to U.S. Music Corp.
