It doesn't have to be the most technical solo, doesn't have to be epically long or be taken from your favourite song. It's that solo that makes your fingers tingle, makes you wanna break out the air guitar (or whatever instrument its played on), maybe even swap your 4 strings for 6......its that solo.
Here's mine: Most of you will probably know it already, its the intro solo to Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell. I was trawling through my dads record collection earlier today and pulled it out, cranking it up proper loud and rocking out whilst burning some food loosely described as 'dinner'.

Why's it so awesome? Its the 'revving' up of the guitar b4 hand, the awesome tone of the guitar, the little fast lick just before the notes of that final riff 'break out' between 1:25 - 1:29 leading to that awesomely slow final riff!! Man that's good!!!!!!
Come on guys, give all of us a reason to crank our computer speakers to the max and share your favourite solo's, even if they aint from such a cool song as mine :d
