I really wanted to buy that bass the first time around, and I was so miffed when I saw that it sold for €1300. I just didn't think it would sell for that low price. Darnit.

This is not from ebay, but from Bajistas.org, a famous bass-related forum from Spain. A fellow forumer is selling a beautiful all black Warwick SSI CS.

Here is the link:

Very sexy bass, indeed.

About the site, I don´t have problems with it, don´t know what could be.

It most certainly is and the beggar has managed to ding it! :((

I wonder what route it took from me to Alin and then finally to this guy (as I'm sure it didn't go direct to him from Alin)?

It's fretless too!! I would give my left nut for that bass!! Well, maybe not but it's still a really nice bass!

Hmm, that bass looks like nice, but from the listing it looks to me like it doesn't exist!
"This is a pre-order listing ... Delivery is approx 45-60 days from closing/payment received ...."
Why a 45-60 day wait before shipping? The only explanation I can think of is that they don't have the bass but will order it from Warwick when you have paid them. But I thought the waiting time for a new bass, especially something as exotic as a fretless Nobby, was more like 6 months these days, not just 45-60 days. Anybody got another explanation?

A mildly defamatory term for someone who has done something bad, such as damaging a beautiful bass. Also used as a polite substitute for the word "bugger".

ok - now I got it:)

thx

 Beggar is a polite/endearing term for someone it is not intended as an insult! ;)

If anyone is interested in Alin's bass I have a few images before and after the work that I had done on the bass and I can give info if anyone would like to know more about it. :d
